Dr. Gautam Das is an expert pain physician, educator, and researcher best known as the Founder and Director of Daradia: The Pain Clinic in Kolkata, one of India’s premier centres dedicated exclusively to interventional pain management and comprehensive chronic pain care. He holds advanced medical qualifications including MD, DCH, FIPP, and FIAPM, and has spent over three decades shaping pain medicine through clinical practice, physician training, research, and education. Among his notable recognitions are the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 3rd International MSK Pain Congress 2025 and the Dr. M. J. Dr. Goutam Das is a distinguished and renowned neurologist based in Kolkata. He completed his MBBS from NRS Medical College, Kolkata, followed by a DPM (Diploma in Psychological Medicine) from the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (IPGME&R), Kolkata, an MD in Medicine from RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata, and a DM in Neurology from NRS Medical College, Kolkata, which is one of India’s respected institutions for neurological training. Treating stroke care, dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders, and nerve/muscle problems are some of his renowned specialities.
